The BG Electrical Nexus Metal NPC31 is a polished chrome single (1 gang) double-pole switch fitted with flush neon, manufactured by British General Electrical. The NPC31 is a double-pole 20A switch suitable for appliances that are hard-wired into circuitry, such as water heaters or hand dryers. However it suits a huge range of interior decors with its slim profile (only 25.5mm deep), classic polished chrome finish and softly rounded corners, and with a lightly lacquered surface to reduce the impression of fingerprints and no visible plastic around the switches, it will continue to look smart even with repeated usage. Each NPC31 is fitted with a moisture-controlling gasket which prevents its metal edges from being tarnished, which allows it to be installed into recently plastered walls with ease. It also features a flush neon indicator which offers increased visibility in light-restricted areas. The switch has no cable entry and so should only be used for hard-wired applications. It can easily be retrofitted into an existing backbox (25mm minimum box depth required), and all terminals are colour-coded with backed-out captive screws to make installation even simpler. As standard on all BG switches and sockets, the NPC31 comes with a 25-year guarantee.
