1. Overview

At OES Electrical Supplies, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not entirely happy with an item, this policy explains how to return it and what you can expect in terms of refunds or replacements.

2. Eligibility for Returns

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

The item must be in its original condition and packaging.

All labels, manuals, and accessories must be included.

The item must not have been installed, used, or modified in any way.

Please note that:

Custom-made, cut-to-length, or special-order items are non-returnable unless faulty.

Certain electrical goods may not be eligible for return due to health and safety regulations once opened.

3. How to Return an Item

Contact Us:

within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return.
Please include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.

Return Authorisation:
We will provide you with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) and the return address. Items returned without an RAN may not be accepted.

Package Securely:
Ensure the item is securely packaged to avoid damage in transit.

Return Shipping:

If the item is faulty or incorrect, we will cover return postage costs.

For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

4. Refunds and Exchanges

Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected. If approved:

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 working days.

If you request an exchange, a replacement will be dispatched once the returned item has been received and approved.

We reserve the right to make deductions for any loss in value if the item shows signs of use or damage not caused by us.

5. Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate, in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless defective:

Made-to-order or custom items.

Cut cable lengths.

Opened fuses, lamps, or other consumables.

Products not in their original packaging.

7. Cancellations (Online Orders)
